    The new kit which featuring Bill Judge, nationally known DOT Drug Law Expert, is designed to help you meet the DOT training requirements for supervisors of covered safety-sensitive employees as described in 49 CFR Part 40.

    The training materials address reasonable suspicion as a performance issue, and as something in reality they are already doing.

    What they need to know is what to observe for and what to do if someone seems unfit for duty. Using the Four Steps of Constructive Confrontation and Documentation developed by the U.S. Navy and in practice nationally over the last fourteen years supervisors can now take action knowing they are protecting everyone.

    Supervisors will know not only how and when to do reasonable suspicion/cause testing but why they need to do it. Designed to help you meet DOT compliance training requirements the kit includes:
    Video 1: short segments on Tape/DVD

    DOT Supervisor Handbook

    Follows the instructional video segments and provides additional information along with reproducible checklists and documentation to perform post accident and reasonable suspicion testing.

    Do It Right! Reasonable Suspicion Pocket Guide

    Contains smaller versions of the instructions, observation form, consent to test, and refusal forms so both the supervisor and employee can use what they know to take immediate action and have the necessary documentation.

    DOT Compliance CD includes

    All the forms, checklists, and documentation shown in the video and handbook. A word searchable version of 49 CFR Part 40 is included on the CD for specific rule referral.


    The video and collateral materials can be customized. For example your substance abuse policy can be in the handbook and on the DOT Compliance CD. We can include your logo and images in both the video and collateral materials. We can also supply web versions so that a supervisor could down load a reasonable suspicion documentation kit.
